It was a very difficult decision to make, given the high standard of the applications, both in terms of the artistic work and the proposed projects. We are aware of the time required to produce applications of this quality and would like to thank the artists for their time and interest in our programme.

We regret that, for budgetary reasons, we are only able to support one artist this year, but we are in discussions with partners to increase this capacity and respond to the growing interest amongst artists in archives, particularly those of international organisations.

We received 572 applications, of which 440 met the criteria. All applications were read by at least one member of the selection committee.
